Product History
Our original core application was the Environmental Monitoring Software System (EMSS). Released in 1999, EMSS was the first fully configurable 'off-the-shelf' environmental monitoring software product. EMSS provided a cost-effective and efficient means to assess and document facility operations, collect microbial and/or particulate counts, and analyze and trend the data to ensure that a customer's environmental control systems were operating as intended.
Building on the success of EMSS, in 2004 we introduced the next generation of our environmental data management application, the Microbiology Information Management System (MIMS®). Since that time MIMS has followed a path of continual improvement. The current iteration of MIMS is the result of our experience to-date, learned trends in the industry, and input from our customers.
CSSC has licensed its products to customers in North America, Europe, and the Carribean.
